210 students have graduated from the Oil and Gas Academy in Mkpat Enin LGA.

Speaking at the event, the Executive Chairman of Mkpat Enin LGA, Hon Ekanem Brown expressed his delight at the resuscitation of a project started by his predecessor and thanked God for giving him the ability to bring it back to life. He advised the graduands to make good use of the opportunity and engage themselves in meaningful ventures courtesy of the skill learnt at the academy

Also speaking at the event, the Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Petroleum Resources, Rt.Hon(Barr) Ekong Sampson lauded the Chairman’s vision in continuing a project started by his predecessor and stressed the government’s resolve to ensure the graduands will be gainfully employed in relevant agencies in need of their skill set.

Also speaking to newsmen at the event, the Chairman of Ikono LGA, Hon Itoro Columba commended the initiator of the project, Hon Ephraim Akpan for his insight and reserved special praise for the incumbent Chairman, Ekanem Brown for leveraging on the success attained by his predecessor to achieve a landmark facility for Mkpat Enin people and said the people are blessed to have Hon Ekanem Brown at the helm of affairs of the LGA
